No Rednecks Here

On our drive home from Bloomington we stopped to get gas at a Cenex in Middle-of-Nowhere, Minnesota. This sign was on the gas pump:


Apparently, due to the number of recent drive-offs, they "have went" to pay at the pump or prepay only. I guess somebody slept through their grammar lesson.

What's funnier, is that someone felt the need to correct this and took a pen and wrote "gone" next to the word "went."


I suppose idiots are everywhere. Fortunately, so are the grammar police. :)
